Who Am I

I’m Yu-Fang Lin, a costume artist from Taiwan who finds deep meaning in detail and storytelling. With a background in fashion design, I stepped into the world of theatre and discovered a creative soul rooted in the interplay of fabric, light, and performance.

I hold an MFA in Theater Design from Florida State University, focusing on costume construction and design. Throughout my journey, I’ve contributed to a wide range of productions as a draper, first hand, stitcher, and costume designer.
My experience spans musicals, plays, and operas—including La Traviata, Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Comedy of Errors, and The Sins of Sor Juana.

I specialize in haute couture techniques, and I’m especially passionate about blending historical silhouettes with contemporary aesthetics. My design approach is versatile and adaptive, always seeking a graceful balance between proportion and texture, with understated luxury as my visual language.

Thank you for exploring my portfolio. I warmly welcome collaborations and new opportunities in costume design and performance.
